Last night, did you catch it? The All-Star game wasn't what it should be -- the most boring game with the least controversy. Even my 4 year olds get this, baseball games don't finish until someone wins. Injury risk? You're playing an athletic game for God's sake, of course there is a risk. You know, you're regular pay covers the risk. This is the only game for the fantasy fan -- put together someone's (ok, not usually mine) dream team. If you don't finish it don't count. It is a failure of our feel-good society, and don't get me wrong I'm a fan of feeling good, that the game was called due to the managers' efforts to be certain that everyone played. Hey, sometimes, not everyone plays. You know what? The sooner people learn that not everyone plays and your job may be just to sit, just in case, the better.
